Morphe Giant – sculptural pendant ceiling lamp for lofty spaces

Morphe Giant, an oversized pendant ceiling lamp softens the line between lighting and sculpture. Handcrafted from pulped newspapers, this organic paper lamp shade features an elegant egg shape that brings softness, colour, and a natural sense of balance to modern interiors.

Designed as a true large statement ceiling light, Morphe Giant is made to shine—literally and figuratively—in open spaces like living rooms with vaulted ceilings, loft apartments, creative studios, or entryways with dramatic height. Its organic form creates a contrast to clean architectural lines, while its generous size captures the eye  without overwhelming the room.

This giant pendant light doesn't just illuminate—it transforms your ceiling into a gallery-worthy focal point. The lamp can be combined with other lamps from the Morphe collection: Morphe I, Morphe II, Morphe III and Morphe IV.

Inspiration:

Term “morphe” , derived from Greek, means “shape”. Visually, the Morphe lamp evokes zoomorphic and amorphous forms, resembling eggs, amoebas, or oblong stones shaped by sea waves. Smooth and oval surface accentuates irregular recesses, unique wrinkles in each of the lamps. 

Material:

The Morphe lamp is very lightweight and durable. It is handcrafted entirely from pulped newspapers, ecologic, water based glue and natural pigments. In conclusion all these components, as well as the process of lamp formation, are environmentally friendly and ecological.

Colour and textile cable:

This paper mache light shade is painted with natural pigments and has a Cotton White textile cable (1m). Moreover you should use only LED bulbs up to 20W hence the bulb is not included. This lamp requires a bulb with an E27 ending.
