Kockney Koi Pond Medic Plus Filter Bacteria contains beneficial live bacteria suspended in special solution. The main active bacteria are Nitrosomonus and Nitrobacter, plus beneficial sub species of both. These bacteria are ideal to boost and help mature biological pond filters and will actively promote the growth of nitrifying bacteria.
Directions:
Shake the bottle vigorously for 30 seconds then add the required dosage to a suitable container holding approximately 1 litre of pond water. Mix this for around a minute to activate the bacteria. For best results add the solution directly to the filter system. Switch off any UV lights for 3 days. Six treatments at weekly intervals will, in most cases, seed your filter correctly for that year. We would advise the boosting of the filter's bacterial colony every spring to ensure optimum results for the year.
Dosage:
Use 100ml per 1000lt (220 Gallons) of pond water. This dosage can be dramatically increased for quicker result s if required as it is virtually impossible to overdose with this product.
